Summer has been really eventful at Pincurls and Pout headquarters.
We had a little matter of waiting for GCSE and AS results, which led to a stressful set of teenagers and parents.
We had holidays abroad and at home. Both of us enjoying the sun as summer was kind to us this year.
We had a couple of weddings, parties and proms to cater for. Victory rolls, red lips, shampoo and sets. Radical hair cuts (clients not us), root touch ups and hair dyes.
All finished off with a twentieth wedding anniversary party. Yes my vintage gent had the bright idea that he wanted us to renew our vows and celebrate with friends and family.
Vintage gent not only could still fit in to his suit, he had his jacket taken in! Original early 90's Paul Smith ensemble, set off by a vintage shirt from A Room in My House and a cravat. (Is it rude to mention the Cuban heels?)
I went for a black and white dress from Vivien of Holloway and Vivienne Westward Melissa shoes. I couldn't find the headwear I wanted so ended up making it myself. In the evening I changed in to a dress from Collectif.
My husband's band Back to Zero played a mix of original songs and covers including a song my husband had written for me when we married but never played live.
We were having such fun that we never stood still and have yet to find a picture of the two of us together.
It was a great end to a lovely summer. So bring on the Autumn we're ready for you.
